FEBRUARY THEME: ALICE IN WONDERLAND

No jam today!

I thought the theme of Alice in Wonderland would be so easy. But as it turned out, I had no charts. I wanted to do a Cheshire Cat, or at the very least his smile, but it's discouraging to learn how few smile charts exist.

But I came across a sweet Jam design by Donna Kooler, which brought to mind:

THEME. BE MINE

Well, we're closing in on Valentine's Day, the day of hearts, flowers, candy and True Love. This chart is a freebie and was supposed to have a mini heart charm in the center. Needless to say, I didn't have a mini heart charm, so went with beads.

THEME: FOOD

FOOD...one of my favorite subjects. And who should be honored more than the one who makes it all happen.

Theme 31 - Far East

So our theme this fortnight is Far East. Far out!

In honor of Karen's trip to Thailand, I have a charming (and easy) Thai Dancer, from a Mexican cross stitch mag of several years ago.



I was going to stitch it in green to represent my envy of her fabulous trip, but stuck with the gold. I'll just have to be envious in private.

Meme No. 29 WILDLIFE

Here we are in November already....
My WILDLIFE meme is finished. It's a seal, but bearing a Christmas gift. I guess you could call him a Christmas Seal. Hahahahaha. He will be a Christmas ornament.
